Born 1773 and died 1867. He married in 1795. Son of John Moll. When his father died he carried on the family gunsmith business located on North 7th Street in Allentown. He worked until 1820 when he sold his business to his son John Moll III.

Maker of Kentucky style rifles and pistols.

.40 caliber smoothbore flintlock pistol, 8 5/8" octagonal barrel marked John Moll, Jr on the top flat. The lock is stamped S. MMRE / WARRANTED, plain marple stock.
